The Trend Capture Trading system is a unique hands on approach to trading alongside the institutions. The simple fact of trading is that the big institutions control the markets, to make a living and be successful in this business we have to learn when and where they are trading and in what direction. Now the question remains, how do we know that? Trend Capture picks up on the Order Flow and helps you place trades with guidance. Although Trend Capture will plot an arrow to let you know whether to place a buy or sell order it is not a red light, green light system. We believe there is always some level of Discretion involved in any trading system or technique. For example we have no trade zones plotted on the screen where it is in not recommended you place an order when the signal appears. Fast market conditions are another example of using discretion, when a fast market condition presents its self; we advise that you let things settle down before you take the next signal. It is also very important that you check the econ reports for the day and refrain from signals five minutes before the release and 15 minutes after the release.
We are often asked “will you automate Trend Capture?” Without going into a rant about our thoughts on auto trade systems, the simple answer is no. We are traders, and we love to trade. We feel each trader needs to be involved in their trading and make the decisions on when the order is placed, keep an eye for fast markets, keep up on the latest news reports and stay tuned into the market. Auto Trade systems will not do this.
This brings up the other question that fills our email in box… Will you send me performance numbers for the last year? Although the numbers are great, we have a firm belief that YOU ARE ONLY AS GOOD AS YOUR LAST TRADE. We feel that any performance number older than three weeks is just eye candy and means absolutely nothing. The markets are an ever changing environment and require an ever dynamic trading approach to stay current and profitable. Regurgitating numbers from 2,3,4 months or more serves no purpose but to stroke a developers ego.
Our mission is to keep these models current and efficient without the use of optimization and data mining. After all we trade these models too so we have a vested interest in their continued success.
When you lease the Trend Capture system, you will have the benefits of your own Neural Network, as we run the models daily for any updates. Such changes would include, stop, targets, range size, and no trade times, just to name a few. When we receive an update from the Neural, this is automatically sent to you. You will receive a message on your chart saying there has been a settings change please refresh your chart. All you then need to do is press F5 on the effected chart and it is updated with the latest setting provided by the Neural.
Along with your lease of the indicators you will have access to our virtual conference room to hear daily market commentary by the models designer and manager of the Neural Network, so when there is an update you will know what and why it is updated.
